The Westin Singapore has announced an extended partnership with the Standard Chartered Singapore Marathon, solidifying its role as the Official Elite Hotel for the event over the next two years. This esteemed three-day marathon festival, running from 29 November to 1 December 2024, is set to attract up to 50,000 runners from around the globe.
The Only One
As Singapore’s only World Athletics Gold Label race, it promises a top-notch running experience through the city’s iconic landmarks. This year, The Westin Singapore welcomes back Natalie Dau, a Guinness World Record holder known for her remarkable Project 1000 charity run.
Joining her are Soh Rui Yong, Singapore’s fastest long-distance runner from last year’s marathon, and Joakim Gomez, a popular radio personality and avid runner who achieved a personal best in the previous marathon.
Good For Everyone
In support of local runners, The Westin has organised monthly run clinics and community runs, led by Westin Run Concierge Eddie Chang and the esteemed ambassadors. These sessions will be enhanced by top wellness and fitness brands like PUMA and Hyperice, reinforcing The Westin’s commitment to holistic well-being.
Participants of the marathon can enjoy a rejuvenating stay with the hotel’s 3D2N Move Well, Marathon Stay package. This offer includes a daily breakfast, a 30-minute Normatec Leg recovery massage or Heavenly Massage at the Heavenly Spa by Westin, late checkout, SGD50 (roughly RM167) hotel credit, and exclusive Westin bedroom slippers.

For an elevated experience, The Westin will introduce Marriott Bonvoy Moments, featuring a meet and greet with elite runners, exclusive access to the VIP Start Pen, and more. The hotel, centrally located in Marina Bay, offers an array of wellness-focused amenities including RunWestin, yoga classes, and Westin Wellness Weekend retreats.
When it comes time to recuperate, rest assured the hotel’s 305 guest rooms and suites, diverse dining options, an outdoor infinity pool, the Heavenly Spa by Westin, and a state-of-the-art fitness studio will surely come in handy.
