The McLaren W1 is coming to Forza Horizon 6, giving players the opportunity to get behind the wheel of McLaren’s latest ‘1’ series supercar from 10 September.
The car will arrive as part of the game’s British Automotive Series update and will be available exclusively to players who have purchased the Car Pass DLC. It will be added directly to their in-game garage as part of the latest vehicle release.
The W1 expands McLaren’s long-running presence across the Forza franchise. It joins the McLaren F1 and McLaren P1 as a ‘Legendary’ level vehicle, while bringing the number of McLaren models available in the game to 13. The current-production McLaren Artura is also part of the line-up.
In the real world, the W1 represents McLaren’s successor to the F1 and P1, continuing the marque’s focus on lightweight construction, aerodynamic performance and driver engagement.
Its powertrain, advanced aerodynamics and lightweight chassis technologies were developed around the same principles, with the aim of delivering high levels of performance while maintaining the direct connection between car and driver associated with McLaren’s ‘1’ series.
The W1’s arrival also gives Forza Horizon 6 players another opportunity to experience one of McLaren’s newest performance cars virtually, with the ability to drive and customise it within the game’s open-world environment.
The McLaren W1 arrives in Forza Horizon 6 on 10 September 2026, exclusively for Car Pass owners.
