Seiko 5 Sports is adding a dose of cartoon nostalgia to its lineup with a new Pink Panther limited edition, drawing inspiration from The Pink Phink, the iconic animated short that first introduced the mischievous character.

Based on the Seiko 5 Sports SKX series, the watch leans fully into the Pink Panther’s world. The dial, bezel and seconds hand are accented in the character’s unmistakable pink, while subtle details nod to the animation’s storyline. Tiny footprints on the dial reference the trail that leads the Little Man to discover the Pink Panther, adding a light-hearted touch without overwhelming the design.

Animated Vibes

The playful theme continues with an interchangeable nylon strap printed with the Pink Panther’s footprints. At the tip, the words “WET PAINT” appear in the same hand-drawn style seen in the original animation — a detail that also carries through to the bezel numerals, reinforcing the watch’s cartoon-inspired character.

Turning the watch over reveals a case back illustration of one of the most memorable scenes from The Pink Phink, showing the Pink Panther camouflaged against a freshly painted pink wall. Each piece is individually numbered and engraved as a limited edition, underlining its collectible appeal.

Pretty In Pink

The watch is presented in a specially designed box inspired by the Little Man’s house mid-paint job, complete with playful artwork that captures the animated rivalry between the two characters.

Limited to 9,999 pieces worldwide, the Seiko 5 Sports Pink Panther edition will be available from January 2026 at Seiko boutiques and selected retailers.
