Casio Computer Co., Ltd. expands its iconic G-SHOCK lineup with a new commemorative release celebrating International Women’s Day, combining symbolic design cues with the brand’s signature durability.
The new GMA-P2126W model builds on the compact proportions of the 2100 series while introducing a refined monochrome aesthetic intended to reflect quiet strength and modern confidence. Featuring the collection’s recognisable octagonal bezel, the watch balances everyday wearability with subtle statement detailing.

A unified dark grey palette defines the design, creating layered tonal depth across the dial and casing. Metallic elements add a soft sheen, elevating the overall finish while maintaining the rugged identity associated with the G-SHOCK name. Gold-coloured accents are incorporated as symbolic highlights, representing optimism and forward momentum—an understated nod to the spirit of empowerment linked to International Women’s Day.
Refined Design

The dial integrates metal materials for a more polished texture, contrasting against the matte resin construction of the case and band. This interplay between durability and refinement reflects a broader shift in contemporary watch design, where performance-led features increasingly meet lifestyle aesthetics.
Beyond visual elements, the release also introduces sustainability considerations. Key resin components are produced using bio-based materials derived from renewable organic resources, aligning with wider industry efforts to reduce environmental impact without compromising structural strength.

Designed with versatility in mind, the GMA-P2126W’s compact form factor makes it suitable for daily wear while retaining the shock-resistant engineering that defines the G-SHOCK range. The model continues Casio’s focus on creating watches that combine functionality with expressive design, appealing to users seeking both reliability and personal style.
The launch also carries a philanthropic component. Casio will donate five per cent of proceeds from sales of the model in Japan to Japanese Organization for International Cooperation in Family Planning, supporting programmes that promote women’s health and empowerment globally.
