Ritz-Carlton Bangkok

The Ritz-Carlton, Bangkok is set to host the grand finale of Marriott International’s 2025 Luxury Dining Series, themed “Forgotten Flavours”, from 25 to 28 September. The four-day culinary celebration marks the culmination of a journey through seven of Asia Pacific’s top luxury destinations, highlighting ancient ingredients and traditional techniques reimagined for the modern palate.

Drawing inspiration from Marriott’s Future of Food 2025 Report, which forecasts Asia Pacific’s culinary tourism market reaching USD6.2 trillion by 2033, the “Forgotten Flavours” theme champions heritage cooking, sustainability, and immersive gastronomic storytelling. According to the report, travellers are increasingly seeking cultural authenticity and time-honoured cuisine in luxury dining experiences.

Culinary Showcase

The Bangkok finale will bring together a world-class ensemble of chefs and mixologists, including David Toutain of Paris, Valentin Fouache, Adam Catterall from Hong Kong’s Michelin-starred Roganic, Loïc Portalier of Louise Hong Kong, and Tala Bashmi, recently named MENA’s Best Female Chef by the World’s 50 Best. Local talent Chef Jai of Charmgang and Chef Pop of The Ritz-Carlton’s own Friends of Lily’s will also feature prominently.

Event highlights include “Duet by David Toutain”, a six-hands collaboration on 25 and 26 September; a cross-cultural dining experience with Louise Hong Kong on 27 and 28 September; and the “Friends of Lily’s” showcase blending Middle Eastern, French, and Thai cuisines. A 10-seat private dinner by Chef Tala on 26 September offers a rare glimpse into contemporary Bahraini cuisine.

Calēo Bar will host an exclusive bar collaboration with Angelo Sparvoli, Head Bartender of The Savoy’s American Bar in London, and Simone Rossi, creator of Hong Kong’s famed Ratafia Rossi. From 25 to 28 September, an immersive chocolate afternoon tea will be led by Executive Pastry Chef Sylvain Constans, spotlighting single-origin cacao and artisanal techniques.

Marriott Bonvoy members can access exclusive experiences through the Marriott Bonvoy Moments programme, including private dinners, cocktail masterclasses, and behind-the-scenes encounters.

The series also visits destinations including Osaka, Jeju, Bengaluru, Perth, Singapore, and Jakarta, connecting over 25 chefs in a shared mission to revive lost and overlooked ingredients across Asia Pacific.
