A cloud of ominous charm is set to descend upon the Klang Valley this August, as the iconic Nevermore Academy makes its eerie debut in Malaysia.

From 1 to 17 August 2025, fans of the hit Netflix series Wednesday are invited to step into the shadowy world of the Addams universe at Nevermore Academy: Malaysia Campus, located at the LG2 Blue Concourse in Sunway Pyramid.

Whether you’re an Outcast or a Normie, you’re welcome — if you dare. The immersive pop-up event offers fans the chance to explore the academy’s most hauntingly beloved corners, including the cryptic Nightshade Library, the hands-on chaos of Alchemy and Transmutation, and the delightfully eerie Elemental Botany class.

Those brave enough to enter Wednesday and Enid’s dorm will quickly realise rest is not an option, as a brain-teasing puzzle awaits before you’re allowed to leave. Complete all orientation checkpoints and you’ll walk away — possibly trembling — with a mysterious prize.

The event launches on 1 August from 4pm to 10pm, with regular hours from 10am to 10pm daily until 17 August. If you keep your eyes peeled, you might even spot a familiar disembodied hand — yes, Thing — lurking in Sunway Pyramid or scuttling about Klang Valley.

The pop-up celebrates the highly anticipated return of Wednesday on Netflix, with Season 2 premiering in two parts on 6 August and 3 September.
