The first official trailer and film stills for Avatar: Fire and Ash, the third entry in James Cameron’s record-breaking Avatar franchise, have been released, offering fans a stunning glimpse into the latest chapter of the Pandora saga.

The trailer made its theatrical debut over the weekend, screening alongside The Fantastic Four: First Steps, and showcases the film’s visually breathtaking landscapes, never-before-seen Na’vi clans, and imaginative new creatures.

Set to be released exclusively in cinemas worldwide — including in Malaysia on 18 December 2025 — Avatar: Fire and Ash continues the story of Jake Sully (Sam Worthington), now a fully integrated Na’vi and leader of his clan, along with Na’vi warrior Neytiri (Zoe Saldaña) and their growing family. The Sullys once again face danger as conflict escalates across the world of Pandora.

Directed by Oscar-winning filmmaker James Cameron, the film features a screenplay by Cameron, Rick Jaffa, and Amanda Silver, and a story developed by Cameron, Jaffa, Silver, Josh Friedman, and Shane Salerno.

The returning ensemble cast includes Sigourney Weaver, Stephen Lang, Cliff Curtis, and Kate Winslet, with Oona Chaplin, Britain Dalton, Trinity Bliss, Jack Champion, and Bailey Bass also appearing in key roles.

With Avatar: The Way of Water having set a high benchmark in 2022, Fire and Ash promises to push the boundaries of cinematic storytelling even further, blending state-of-the-art visual effects with emotional, character-driven drama.
