McLaren Puma

McLaren Racing and global sportswear brand PUMA have announced a new multi-year partnership set to begin in 2026, uniting two brands shaped by innovation, precision and a shared commitment to high performance. The collaboration marks a significant new chapter for both companies, extending across McLaren Racing’s diverse motorsport portfolio and reaching fans around the world.

Under the partnership, PUMA will become the official team kit partner for McLaren Racing, designing performance apparel for teams competing across multiple series. This includes the McLaren Mastercard Formula 1 Team, Arrow McLaren IndyCar Team, McLaren’s F1 Academy entries, McLaren F1 Sim Racing Team, and from 2027, the McLaren United AS World Endurance Championship Hypercar Team.

Beyond Apparel

Drawing on decades of motorsport heritage, PUMA brings its technical expertise to a programme designed to perform in the most demanding environments. Arthur Hoeld, CEO of PUMA, described the partnership as a natural evolution for the brand, building on its long-standing involvement in racing and collaboration with some of the sport’s most celebrated teams and drivers.

At the heart of the collaboration is a design language rooted in McLaren Racing’s instantly recognisable papaya. The Replica Collection reflects the official teamwear worn by drivers and pit crews throughout the season, while the Lifestyle Collection takes a broader view — translating motorsport heritage into everyday pieces inspired by speed, movement and modern culture.

Fan Experiences

Rather than focusing solely on apparel, the partnership also aims to deepen fan engagement through immersive experiences. A series of events and limited releases are planned to bring the atmosphere of race weekends to life beyond the circuit, offering new ways for fans to connect with the McLaren Racing story. The first of these experiences is set to debut at the opening race of the Formula 1 season in Australia.

McLaren Racing CEO Zak Brown noted the growing intersection between motorsport, fashion and lifestyle, highlighting the importance of authentic partnerships that resonate with a global audience. With Formula One continuing to expand its cultural reach, the collaboration reflects a broader shift in how teams engage fans — not just as spectators, but as part of a shared community.

The McLaren and PUMA collection is currently available in stores and online.
