KitKat has launched its Formula 1 campaign in Malaysia, giving fans the opportunity to experience the sport through interactive events, exclusive merchandise and a nationwide contest featuring prizes linked to the 2026 Formula 1 Singapore Grand Prix.

The campaign marks the local debut of KitKat’s partnership with Formula 1, which coincides with the chocolate brand’s 90th anniversary and Formula 1’s 75th anniversary. The multi-year collaboration is being rolled out across selected markets throughout 2026.

In Malaysia, the campaign centres on a series of roadshows across the Klang Valley, where visitors can try Formula 1-inspired racing simulators and take part in interactive activities designed to recreate the excitement of a race weekend.

The promotion is also accompanied by a range of limited-edition Formula 1-themed KitKat products and a 12-week consumer contest. Shoppers who spend at least RM10 on participating KitKat products and upload their receipt via the campaign microsite or WhatsApp will be eligible to enter.

More than 1,000 prizes are available throughout the campaign, including co-branded KitKat Formula 1 merchandise distributed during the roadshows.

The grand prize is an all-inclusive trip for two to the FORMULA 1 SINGAPORE AIRLINES SINGAPORE GRAND PRIX 2026, including race tickets and accommodation. Five additional winners will each receive a pair of three-day Pit Grandstand tickets for the Singapore race weekend.

The campaign reflects Formula 1’s growing popularity in Malaysia while encouraging consumers to embrace the brand’s long-running “Have a Break, Have a KitKat” message through the shared concept of taking a pause—much like the split-second pit stops that play a crucial role during every Formula 1 race.

The KitKat Formula 1 campaign is now underway across Malaysia, with roadshows and promotions taking place over the coming weeks.
