Iconic British retailer Marks & Spencer (M&S), operated by the Al-Futtaim Group, has officially announced the grand opening of its newest store in IOI City Mall Putrajaya. This marks a new milestone for the renowned brand’s presence in the region.

Spanning over 6,000 square feet, the store is designed with fresh interiors that create a modern ambience and ensures an enhanced shopping journey. Comprising dedicated sections for women’s wear, menswear, lingerie, beauty and a food hall, this new store is poised to become the go-to location for individuals in the area seeking an array of fashion and lifestyle choices.

Ryan Dsouza, General Manager of Marks & Spencer Singapore & Malaysia, Al-Futtaim Retail and Wilfred Wong, Assistant General Manager of IOI City Mall, Putrajaya officiated the new store in Putrajaya.

The event commenced with a lively ribbon-cutting ceremony, followed by a captivating performance by accomplished percussionists, infusing the store’s opening with an unforgettable rhythm. Esteemed business partners, local influencers and tastemakers were welcomed into the new store to witness this momentous occasion.

A Weekend Of Festivities

On the 9^th and 10^th of September, Marks & Spencer hosted a series of thrilling in-store activities for shoppers to enjoy. As soon as shoppers step into the store, they embarked on an unforgettable experience, starting with an instant photo booth for capturing memorable moments.

M&S’ new store came alive with rhythmic beats as surprise live performances took to the stage at 12:00pm and 3:00pm. Visitors who happened to catch these performances also left Marks & Spencer with a cherished souvenir.
