Massimo Dutti has opened a new store at Pavilion Damansara Heights, Kuala Lumpur, bringing its latest retail concept to Malaysia. Located on Level 2, the 485-square-metre space houses the brand’s full men’s and women’s collections.

The new store reflects a more considered approach to the retail environment, combining architecture, materials and art with the presentation of the collections. Wood, stone, mineral finishes and textiles form the basis of the interior, complemented by bespoke furniture and selected decorative pieces.

Lighting is also central to the design, with natural daylight and indirect architectural lighting used to create a quieter atmosphere while highlighting the textures and materials throughout the space.

The store follows Massimo Dutti’s latest eco-efficient retail concept within the Inditex Group. It incorporates technology designed to connect the physical store with the brand’s digital platforms, while offering customers additional ways to browse, purchase and collect products.

Among the available services is Scan & Shop, which allows customers to scan products using the Massimo Dutti app, view additional information and add items to an online shopping basket for delivery.

Customers can also use the app to reserve items and collect them from their selected store within 24 hours. If a particular garment is unavailable in-store, staff equipped with mobile devices can place an online order on the customer’s behalf, with delivery available to the store or a preferred address.

The store also offers electronic receipts, providing an alternative to printed versions and reducing paper use.

The Pavilion Damansara Heights opening forms part of Massimo Dutti’s continued development of its physical retail network, with the new format placing greater emphasis on the relationship between fashion, architecture, technology and personalised service.
