Welcome the Year of the Snake the Mandarin Oriental way at Lai Po Heen

Mandarin Oriental, Kuala Lumpur is set to host an extraordinary celebration of Chinese New Year at Lai Po Heen, from 6 January to 12 February 2025. This festive season promises a delightful range of dining options, exclusive hampers, and exciting promotions to usher in the new year with prosperity and joy.

Throughout the duration diners can indulge in specially curated Set Menus as well as à la carte offerings. There’s iconic festive dishes such as the Treasure Pot (Poon Choi) and a variety of Yee Sang platters. These dishes are designed to bring good fortune and happiness for the year ahead.

Chinese New Year Eve 

For a more elaborate Lunar celebration indulge in a Chinese New Year feast on Tuesday, 28 January 2025. For lunch, the restaurant will serve its exquisite menu from 12 to 2:30 p.m., featuring signature dim sum items like Abalone Chicken Siew Mai with Fish Roe, Lobster Dumplings with Gold Leaf, and Crispy Bean Curd Rolls filled with Shrimp.

In the evening, there will be two dinner sessions: the first from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m., and the second from 8 to 10 p.m. Both sessions offer a specially curated set menu, perfect for honoring the occasion and ensuring a prosperous year ahead.
