AQUA Restaurant & Bar at Mandarin Oriental, Kuala Lumpur is bringing the flavours of coastal Italy to the city with Italian Riviera at AQUA, running from 1 August to 30 September 2026.

Set against views of KLCC Park and Kuala Lumpur’s skyline, the seasonal menu draws inspiration from the seaside regions and culinary traditions of Italy, with dishes designed for sharing and relaxed dining.

The menu begins with a selection of appetisers, including Bocconcini Bruschetta with cherry tomatoes, basil and balsamic reduction, Calamari Fritti with garlic aioli, and a Charcuterie Board of Italian cured meats, cheeses and condiments. A Sicilian-inspired Risotto ai Frutti di Mare combines Arborio rice with assorted seafood, cherry tomatoes, lemon and Parmesan.

Other dishes explore flavours from across the country. Insalata Estiva takes inspiration from Tuscany with marinated chicken, fennel, walnuts, avocado, roasted grapes and blue cheese, while a chilled Sicilian-style soup combines zucchini and tomatoes with pomegranate.

For pasta lovers, Spaghetti alla Puttanesca brings together cherry tomatoes, anchovies, Kalamata olives, capers and fresh basil in a classic Neapolitan preparation.

Desserts continue the regional theme with Sorbetto al Limone e Basilico, a lemon and basil sorbet; Panna Cotta alle Amarena with Amarena cherries and pistachio biscotti; and Crostata di Marmellata, a Neapolitan apricot tart served with vanilla gelato.

The promotion also includes a collaboration with Campari, bringing Italy’s aperitivo tradition to AQUA. Guests can order classic cocktails including the Negroni, Negroni Sbagliato, Milano Torino, Americano, Campari Spritz and Garibaldi.

Italian Riviera at AQUA is available from 1 August to 30 September 2026 at AQUA Restaurant & Bar, Mandarin Oriental, Kuala Lumpur, offering a seasonal interpretation of Italian dining that moves from Sicily and Naples to Tuscany and Rome.
