Tokyo-based toy manufacturer TOMY Company, Ltd. has announced a new collaboration between its adult-focused tomica brand and the iconic Japanese comic Initial D, in celebration of the manga’s 30th anniversary in 2025.
Set for release in December 2025, the collaboration will feature four detailed die-cast playsets under the tomica PREMIUM unlimited range. The models are designed for collectors and fans who want to relive the most memorable moments from the beloved street-racing series.
The products will be available in Japan at toy stores, department stores, TOMICA SHOPS, online retailers, and TOMY’s official online store, TOMY MALL, with pre-orders opening on 5 August 2025. The line will also launch in 11 other Asian markets, including Mainland China, South Korea, Singapore, and Thailand, with plans for wider international release.
