The Venice-Simplon-Orient-Express offers new routes through Europe

Starting in May 2025, the iconic Venice Simplon-Orient-Express will offer a brand-new three-night journey from Paris to Tuscany, blending luxury travel with unforgettable experiences. This exclusive route will take guests to Castello di Casole, a stunning Belmond estate in Tuscany, celebrated for its rich history and breathtaking 1,300-hectare grounds.

The journey marks the train’s continued legacy as a trailblazer of slow, luxurious travel to European destinations like Cannes, Amsterdam, and Istanbul, now extending its prestige further into Italy. The Tuscany journey departs Paris on 11 May 2025, with an unforgettable welcome aboard, featuring champagne as guests settle into their lavish accommodations.

Travelers can choose from three different cabins: the charming Historic Cabins, the spacious Suites, or the opulent Grand Suites. As the train winds through scenic countryside, guests indulge in delicious pastries, tea, and coffee while admiring the landscape. Chef Jean Imbert curates an exquisite dinner menu inspired by the regions passed along the route, and the Bar Car ‘3674’ keeps the ambiance lively with cocktails and live piano music.

Fun In The Train

On day two, travelers wake to the idyllic Tuscan vistas before enjoying breakfast in their cabins. The journey continues to Arezzo, where guests will transfer to Siena for a private, guided tour of the city’s UNESCO-listed historic center. Highlights include a visit to Palazzo Pannocchieschi d’Elci, a 13th-century aristocratic palace overlooking the famed Piazza del Campo.

The journey culminates at Castello di Casole, where guests will stay in luxury Suites surrounded by vineyards, olive groves, and rich Tuscan history. In the evening, enjoy stargazing under one of the clearest skies in Italy, guided by astro-tourism experts.
