The hand-sprayed collection is the evolution of the brand’s heritage fabric

The evolution of a Stone Island heritage fabric, Mussola Gommata, is made by laminating a very lightweight cotton muslin to a transparent polyurethane film with canvas texture. This treatment is utilised in the brand new Stone Island 2023 Spring/Summer Collection dubbed, the hand-sprayed collection.

Unique Hand-Sprayed Style

The collection sees items being dyed and manually sprayed inside in a contrasting colour, with a subtle effect. This leads to a unique and unmistakable three-dimensional effect. Knitwear, sweatshirts and t-shirts are also all sprayed by hand to achieve the same effect.

Extra Resistant Style

Moreover, Stone Island bikers jackets made in the hand-sprayed collection offer an exclusive look. After the dyeing, drying and ironing process, the clothing is manually sprayed inside in a contrasting colour, with an effect that is impossible to replicate in any other way. This gives a unique look that you won’t find anywhere else.

Hand Made With Style

This hand-sprayed style features a standing collar with a low shoulder line, as well as Slanting hand pockets with hidden zip fastening and a Stone Island badge on the left sleeve. It offers a tightening snap at cuffs and two way zip fastening.

The Stone Island hand-sprayed collection crewneck sweatshirt in light mako cotton fleece is also available in this collection. The piece is manually airbrushed in black on the inner side and then garment dyed, in order to achieve two contrasting tones on the outside.

Its ribbed neckline, one chest pocket, with vertical zip fastening and the pocket pouch in cotton fabric blocks the inner hand-sprayed airbrush treatment seen outside. A Stone Island badge on the left sleeve and ribbed cuffs and bottom band completes the design.
