The worlds of high-powered law, celebrity and personal ambition collide in War, a new HBO Original legal drama arriving on HBO Max on 2 October, with the series also available on HBO.

Set within London’s competitive legal landscape, the series follows two rival firms, Cathcarts & Sons and Taylor & Byrne, as they go head-to-head over a closely watched legal battle.

At the centre of the dispute is the divorce of British tech entrepreneur Morgan Henderson and international film star Carla Duval. As both firms pursue victory for their respective clients, the case draws ambitious young lawyer Jonathan “Johnny” Warren into a world where professional rivalries and personal interests increasingly overlap.

The series stars Dominic West as Morgan Henderson and Sienna Miller as Carla Duval, alongside Phoebe Fox as Serena Byrne and James McArdle as Nicholas Taylor.

Created, written and executive produced by George Kay, War is directed by Ben Taylor, who serves as Lead Director, with Laurie Borg as Series Producer.

The drama explores the pressures and rivalries that accompany London’s elite legal circles, while its central case places the competing firms in a contest where professional reputation, strategy and personal ambition are closely intertwined.

War premieres on HBO Max on Friday, 2 October, and will also be available on HBO.
