Experience the Alexander McQueen candle collection in three distinct scents

Alexander McQueen has just announced the launch of its new candle collection featuring three distinct and tantalising scents, namely Ghost Flower, Pagan Rose and Savage Bloom. All three were inspired by the juxtaposition between light and darkness, innovation and tradition and strength and fragility central to the marquee.

Three Great Scents

Moreover, each candle was conceived by a different perfumer who was given an open brief springing from the McQueen codes. This ensures that no matter which scent you choose, you will leave a lasting impression and the smell can stay in your olfactory centre all day even when away from the candles.

Ghost Flower

Ghost Flower contrasts fresh freesia and peony with earthy patchouli. This gives it an almost lingering smell that will surely be the ghost scent many will be thrilled to have hanging in the air even after the candle is put out.

Pagan Rose

Meanwhile, Pagan Rose is based around the tension between fragile wild rose and earthy peat. This gives the scent a duality, much like the people who would want to use it, never one nor the other, always treading the line in the best of ways, keeping your home smelling amazing all the time.

Savage Bloom

Savage Bloom, on the other hand, has a head of tuberose and a heart of oud making it not only the most simple scent of the three but also the most unforgettable of the three candles. One simple whiff will leave everyone wanting for more.

Also inspired by the storytelling nature of the collections, all the candles are encased in an egg-shaped black lacquered glass with a silver, dark or gold metal lid. The glass is protected by a mycelium shell and presented in a wooden crate.

How Its Made

All candles are crafted in a combination of black mineral waxes and rapeseed wax. Candles are priced £295 (RM1,481) and are available at selected stores and online.
