Prime Video has released the official teaser trailer and confirmed the premiere date for its highly anticipated new series, Spider-Noir, starring Nicolas Cage in his first leading television role.

The series will debut domestically on MGM+ on 25 May 2026 before launching globally on Prime Video on 27 May 2026 as a binge release across more than 240 countries and territories.

Produced by Sony Pictures Television exclusively for MGM+ and Prime Video, Spider-Noir offers viewers a unique streaming experience. Audiences can choose between two formats: “Authentic Black & White,” honouring the character’s noir comic roots, or “True-Hue Full Color,” providing a modern visual interpretation.

The live-action series is based on the Marvel comic Spider-Man Noir and follows Ben Reilly (Cage), a seasoned and down-on-his-luck private investigator navigating 1930s New York. Haunted by a deeply personal tragedy, Reilly is forced to confront his past life as the city’s only masked superhero.

Cage leads an ensemble cast that includes Lamorne Morris, Li Jun Li, Karen Rodriguez, Abraham Popoola, Jack Huston and Brendan Gleeson, alongside a wide-ranging guest cast.

The first two episodes are directed and executive produced by Emmy Award winner Harry Bradbeer. Co-showrunners Oren Uziel and Steve Lightfoot developed the series alongside the Academy Award-winning creative team behind Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse — Phil Lord, Christopher Miller and Amy Pascal — who also serve as executive producers.

Blending classic noir aesthetics with superhero mythology, Spider-Noir marks a bold expansion of the Spider-Man universe for television audiences worldwide.
