From The Spider-Verse
Produced by Sony Pictures Television exclusively for MGM+ and Prime Video, Spider-Noir offers viewers a unique streaming experience. Audiences can choose between two formats: “Authentic Black & White,” honouring the character’s noir comic roots, or “True-Hue Full Color,” providing a modern visual interpretation.
The live-action series is based on the Marvel comic Spider-Man Noir and follows Ben Reilly (Cage), a seasoned and down-on-his-luck private investigator navigating 1930s New York. Haunted by a deeply personal tragedy, Reilly is forced to confront his past life as the city’s only masked superhero.
All-Star Cast
Cage leads an ensemble cast that includes Lamorne Morris, Li Jun Li, Karen Rodriguez, Abraham Popoola, Jack Huston and Brendan Gleeson, alongside a wide-ranging guest cast. The first two episodes are directed and executive produced by Emmy Award winner Harry Bradbeer. Co-showrunners Oren Uziel and Steve Lightfoot developed the series alongside the Academy Award-winning creative team behind Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse — Phil Lord, Christopher Miller and Amy Pascal — who also serve as executive producers.
Blending classic noir aesthetics with superhero mythology, Spider-Noir marks a bold expansion of the Spider-Man universe for television audiences worldwide.
