Prime Video has released the first official trailer for Spider-Noir, the upcoming live-action series starring Nicolas Cage in his first leading television role. Produced by Sony Pictures Television for MGM+ and Prime Video, the series premieres globally on May 27 across more than 240 countries and territories.

Based on the Spider-Man Noir comic universe, the series follows Ben Reilly, played by Cage, as a private investigator in 1930s New York City confronting his past after personal tragedy. Set against a noir-inspired version of the city, the show blends detective drama with superhero mythology.

In a first for a major streaming release, viewers will be able to watch the series in two formats: “Authentic Black & White” and “True-Hue Full Color,” offering two visual interpretations of the same story.

The Spider-Noir trailer made its public debut at CCXP in Mexico City, where cast members including Lamorne Morris, Li Jun Li, Jack Huston and Karen Rodriguez introduced the project to fans.

The wider cast also includes Brendan Gleeson, Abraham Popoola and a number of guest stars. The series is executive produced by Oren Uziel and Steve Lightfoot, with creative input from Phil Lord, Christopher Miller and Amy Pascal, the team behind Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse.
