StarDream Cruises has unveiled its 2026 Asia sailing programme, expanding departures from Port Klang, Singapore and other regional ports.

The announcement also marks the 10th anniversary of Dream Cruises, with the flagship Genting Dream beginning its new season from Malaysia this May.

The 2026 lineup includes a series of themed sailings featuring guest appearances and entertainment. Among the scheduled highlights are chef Tommie Lee, also known as French Papa, in May, performances of Forever Broadway in June, Amotti from Physical: 100 in July, and K-pop group KIIRAS in October. To mark the anniversary, the company has also introduced promotional offers across selected sailings.

Culinary Highlight

Its sister brand StarCruises will also feature a Malaysia-focused highlight, with Chef Wan hosting a special Phuket–Penang voyage aboard Star Voyager in May.

The sailing will include curated menus and onboard appearances timed around the local school holiday period.

Beyond entertainment, the company says demand continues to grow for shorter regional getaways and multi-destination holidays.

Routes include Malaysian stops such as Penang, Malacca, Redang, Tioman and Pangkor, alongside broader Southeast and East Asian itineraries covering more than 50 destinations.

The group says it has recorded over 1.4 million inbound passenger arrivals into Malaysian ports and more than 220,000 outbound Malaysian passengers since 2022.

With Malaysia positioning itself for Visit Malaysia 2026, the cruise operator is also increasing its focus on Port Klang as a regional homeport, aiming to make cruise travel more accessible to local travellers while strengthening the country’s role in Asian cruise tourism.
