Squid Games S3 Trailer

Fresh out of the Tudum 2025 live event in Los Angeles, Netflix has unveiled the main trailer and new stills for Squid Games S3 with fans and cast members from Seasons 2 and 3 in attendance. Together, they deliver the most brutal chapter yet as the global phenomenon reaches its grand finale — who will be the last one standing in the 45.6 billion won game?

Final Showdown

The explosive Squid Game S3 trailer opens with the haunting children’s rhyme “Knock knock, who is it? It’s me, the little kid” as terror-stricken participants cower behind the towering legs of the iconic Young-hee doll — the deadly giant from Season 1’s “Red Light, Green Light” game — now sporting floral tights in her menacing return. This chilling visual captures Squid Game‘s signature blend of childhood innocence twisted into survival horror.

Meanwhile, Gi-hun (Lee Jung-jae) erupts in anguish: “Why didn’t you kill me? Why did you let me live?” His breakdown reveals crushing guilt over losing friend Jung-bae during their failed rebellion. Now he faces his ultimate confrontation with the Front Man (Lee Byung-hun), who infiltrated the games as participant Young-il. Unmasked and back as the orchestrator, he poses a chilling question: “Number 456, do you still have faith in people?”

New Games, New Stakes

Fresh visuals tease deadly new challenges including jump rope. As desperation peaks, Geum-ja (Kang Ae-sim) pleads through tears: “Please, let us stop playing these games,” while Myung-gi (Yim Si-wan) confronts Jun-hee (Jo Yu-ri): “So what are you planning to do? Just sit here and die?”

The Final Chapter

The new stills capture raw intensity as Gi-hun appears in a suit with steely determination — has he reached the final rounds? The Front Man sports number 132, hinting at hidden backstories. Surviving players Myung-gi, Dae-ho (Kang Ha-neul), Hyun-ju (Park Sung-hoon), and others showcase devastating emotions across high-stakes scenarios.

Most intriguingly, Gyeong-seok (Lee Jin-uk) — who was shot during the violent suppression of the rebellion — appears clutching his wounded stomach while confronting a Pink Guard, raising urgent questions about his survival and potential revenge. Detective Jun-ho (Wi Ha-jun) examines game symbols that may unlock the conspiracy.

Premiering on 27 June, Squid Game S3 concludes creator Hwang Dong-hyuk’s record-breaking thriller that became a cultural phenomenon, with Season 2 ranking as Netflix’s third most-watched season ever.
