BMW Motorrad Malaysia has introduced two new additions to its premium motorcycle range – the New BMW F 900 XR, a dynamic long-distance sports tourer, and the All-New BMW R 12 nineT, a refined modern roadster steeped in heritage. These latest offerings reflect BMW’s commitment to innovation, performance, and craftsmanship — continuing to shape the premium motorcycle segment in Malaysia.

All-New BMW R 12 nineT

The BMW R 12 nineT embodies the spirit of classic motorcycling, paired with modern technology. Its iconic 1,170cc boxer engine generates 109 hp and 115 Nm of torque, housed within a newly engineered tubular steel spaceframe. Classic touches include brushed aluminium tank panels, twin analogue gauges, and 17-inch cast alloy wheels.

Riders benefit from modern conveniences like Dynamic Traction Control, ABS Pro, adaptive headlights, and the Comfort Package with Cruise Control, Hill Start Control, and Heated Grips. Customisation is central to its appeal, while its Black Storm Metallic finish underscores its timeless design.

New BMW F 900 XR

The BMW F 900 XR offers a compelling blend of sporty performance and touring practicality. With a newly optimised chassis, lighter wheels, and upgraded suspension, the motorcycle offers improved agility and long-distance comfort. Its 895cc two-cylinder engine delivers 105 hp and 93 Nm of torque, accelerating from 0–100 km/h in just 3.6 seconds with a top speed exceeding 200 km/h.

The model comes standard with features such as Dynamic ESA, ABS Pro, Gear Shift Assistant Pro, and Dynamic Brake Control, ensuring exceptional handling and safety. A redesigned front fairing, USB-C charging port, heated grips, Keyless Ride, and Cruise Control enhance the rider’s touring experience. The model is offered in an eye-catching Racing Blue/Lightwhite colourway.

Pricing and Ownership

The BMW F 900 XR is priced from RM 82,500.00 whilst the BMW R 12 nineT is priced at RM 124,500.00. With financing options starting from RM 1,158.00 for the F 900 XR and RM 1,738.00 for the R 12 nineT, both models are offered with BMW Motorrad’s 3-Year Warranty and Roadside Assistance programmes.
