Global pop group BTS will reunite on stage for a major live-streamed comeback event in partnership with Netflix, marking one of the most anticipated returns in contemporary pop music.
BTS THE COMEBACK LIVE | ARIRANG will stream worldwide on 21 March 2026 from Gwanghwamun in Seoul. The performance celebrates the release of the group’s upcoming fifth studio album ARIRANG and marks the first time all seven members — RM, Jin, SUGA, j-hope, Jimin, V and Jung Kook — will perform together again following the completion of South Korea’s mandatory military service requirements.
The event is produced in collaboration with HYBE and Big Hit Music, continuing a long-standing partnership that has helped shape BTS’s global rise since their debut in 2013.
According to organisers, the album ARIRANG reflects themes of identity and cultural roots, setting the tone for a large-scale world tour scheduled to run from 2026 to 2027 across Asia, Europe, the Americas and the Middle East.

A companion documentary, BTS: THE RETURN, will premiere on Netflix on 27 March 2026. The feature-length film follows the group’s creative process as the members reconnect and begin recording new material after several years focused on solo work and military commitments.
The documentary includes behind-the-scenes footage from recording sessions in Los Angeles, alongside personal reflections on the group’s evolution and the challenges of returning to a shared artistic direction.
Netflix described the live special as part of its growing slate of global live programming, and notably its first worldwide livestream event originating from South Korea.
Since their debut, BTS have become one of the most influential acts in global pop, known for their self-produced music, large-scale performances and highly engaged international fan community. Their upcoming comeback marks a significant moment not only for the group but also for the wider global music landscape.
