CelcomDigi Updates Roaming Passes with Rates from RM10
Share
CelcomDigi has updated its international roaming passes, with prices starting at RM10 and coverage across up to 95 destinations. The revised line-up includes options for both prepaid and postpaid customers, with different data allowances and pricing structures depending on travel needs.
All passes include up to 30 minutes of calls to Malaysia and within the destination country. Customers can also book their passes through the CelcomDigi app up to 14 days before departure.
Roaming is available across three zones: Singapore, Indonesia and Thailand (SIT), the Asia Zone and Worldwide. Multi-destination passes allow customers to use the service across multiple countries within the applicable zone, while 5G roaming is available in supported destinations. Customers can retain their existing mobile number without changing SIM cards or installing an eSIM profile.
Different Options for Prepaid and Postpaid
Prepaid roaming passes start at RM10 and come with fixed high-speed data quotas. Customers can select a package based on their expected usage, with the option to purchase additional data if required.
Postpaid customers can opt for unlimited roaming packages from RM30, which include unlimited 5G data. The plans cater to travellers who need regular access to mobile data for navigation, messaging, video calls and other online services while abroad.
Additional options are available to eligible postpaid customers. Those subscribed to the Postpaid 5G 120 plan and above qualify for 50 per cent savings on selected roaming passes.
For people who travel overseas regularly, CelcomDigi also offers recurring monthly roaming plans. These are priced from RM20 a month with a contract or RM40 a month without one, providing an alternative to purchasing individual passes for each trip.
The revised range gives travellers several ways to manage roaming costs, from lower-priced prepaid packages for occasional use to unlimited data options and recurring plans for more frequent trips.
