Tamil hip hop music is set to take centre stage this year with Naamastay
The music scene in Malaysia has always been lively, diverse and extremely enjoyable, with many recent and past examples. Malaysia has no shortage of music related festivities and this year, for fans of tamil hip hop, Naamastay Hip Hop will be returning with acts such as Yogi B, Balan Kash and many more.

Naamastay Hip Hop returns this year with a fresh vibe, announcing 36 vibrant homegrown artists ( with more to be announced soon) and performances, merchandise booths, interactive photo booths, activation spaces and games. So if you are a fan of hip hop, this is the place to be this year.
Ready To Party
The show is set to take place on the 20 May 2023 at Sweet Memory, KL. It is located along Jalan Chagar, Chow Kit KL, opposite Wisma FGV, the old Sime Darby building.
Adding to the excitement, Naamastay Hip Hop also receives the support from the Ministry of Communications and Digital together with the government’s creative arm, MyCreative Ventures Sdn. Bhd. With this added backing, this show will surely give the local Indian community a night to remember.
Celebrating Homegrown Music
Sri Janarthanan Nair, Managing Director of FourOne6, said, “Naamastay Hip Hop is going to be different from any other concert you’ve attended, bringing great people, great vibes, and great music together to represent and celebrate the originality and greatness of homegrown hip hop.” He also promises Naamastay Hip Hop to be an incredible space for music lovers to discover Malaysian Tamil hip hop talents that our community has to offer.

Additionally, the organisers have already given away 100 tickets for FREE on 12 April 2023. This was an appreciation to fans who have been supporting the homegrown hip hop scene. For those who still want to get their hands on tickets, limited early bird prices are set at RM 89 while regular tickets will set you back RM 111.
