Small Luxury Hotels is once again setting its sights on Vietnam
Small Luxury Hotels (SLH) of the world returns to Vietnam with the opening of its new member The Anam Mui Ne. The new property is set within Vietnam’s breath-taking tropical landscapes and oozes old-world Indochine charm.
Built on 1.2 hectares of white sand beaches on the Southern coastal town of Mui Ne, lauded as Vietnam’s kite-surfing mecca, the luxury beach resort sits at the heart of a vibrant natural landscape.
A Convenient Location
Getting to the resort will also be made easier as an expressway is due to open in June 2023. This will cut the drive from Ho Chi Minh City to just two hours. There is also an international airport set to open in Mui Ne sometime in 2025.
With architecture inspired by the grand French villas in Hanoi and the garden homes of Central Vietnam, the Anam Mui Ne pays homage to both colonial-era and classic Vietnamese aesthetics. This includes design motifs such as customized encaustic mosaic tiles, Cham decorative vases and statues on plinths.
Highlighting Vietnamese Culture
Vietnamese artists were also commissioned to create 250 oil paintings depicting scenes of Vietnamese life. These artworks adorn each room and suite as well as the lobby, restaurants and hallways in the resort. The artists include painters Bui Van Quang, who is renowned for his paintings portraying daily Vietnamese life.
On top of that, the Anam Mui Ne consists of 127 rooms and suites across six accommodation categories. These rooms form a loose rectangular U-shaped configuration that opens up views of the ocean, lush gardens, the resort’s two saltwater and freshwater swimming pools as well as Mui Ne town.
Mark Wong, Senior Vice President Asia Pacific, Small Luxury Hotels of the World, said, “We are delighted to set our footprint in Vietnam once again with The Anam Mui Ne. Vietnam is fast becoming one of the most sought-after destinations owing to its diverse natural conditions and topography for travellers.”
“Surrounded by diverse natural landscapes and lush foliage, The Anam Mui Ne is an ideal spot to experience what Vietnam’s outdoor tourism can offer, being one of Southeast Asia’s premier kitesurfing spots, and complemented with a nostalgic old-world Indochine charm.” He concluded.
