MDX  Summit 2024 is about to shift Malaysia’s leadership landscape

The Malaysia Digital Xceleration (MDX) Summit 2024 kicked off today at the Malaysia International Trade and Exhibition Centre (MITEC), proudly hosted by the Ministry of Digital through the Malaysia Digital Economy Corporation (MDEC). Officiated by Minister YB Tuan Gobind Singh Deo, this summit positions Malaysia as a rising digital powerhouse in ASEAN.

Focused on five transformative technologies, such as Data Trust, Next-Gen Computing, Computer Vision, Metaverse and Digital Twins, the MDX Summit serves as a hub for industry leaders to envision the future of Malaysia’s digital landscape. This event highlights the nation’s commitment to embracing advanced technologies to bolster economic resilience and maintain a competitive edge on the global stage.

Moreover, spanning two days from 24 to 25 October, the summit features an exciting agenda filled with keynote addresses, panel discussions, exhibitions, and ample networking opportunities. With over 3,000 attendees expected, including global investors, entrepreneurs, startups, policymakers and digital professionals.

The Future

Participants are set to engage in meaningful discussions that will shape the future of Malaysia’s digital economy. This year’s lineup of speakers includes Former French Minister for SMEs, Innovation, and Digital Economy, Fleur Pellerin, will delve into policies that drive innovation, while Mike Walsh, CEO of Tomorrow, will share insights on creating an AI-powered future.
