Malaysian artist Saint Kylo has been named among a select group of 20 global musicians chosen for the 2025 edition of Jameson Distilled Sounds, the international music platform helmed by Grammy-winning artist Anderson .Paak.
Returning for a second year, Jameson Distilled Sounds continues its mission to foster cross-cultural collaboration and creative exchange through music. Following a successful launch in Cork, Ireland—the home of Jameson Irish Whiskey—the initiative will again bring together artists from around the world for a unique creative residency.
This year’s lineup includes talent from South Africa, India, Portugal, Nigeria, Indonesia, and Kazakhstan, among others. The artists will collaborate in writing, recording, and performing original music under .Paak’s guidance, creating a fusion of global influences and local sounds.
Impressive Line-Up

Representing Malaysia, Saint Kylo brings a rich blend of soul, funk, and R&B to the cohort. Formerly a member of the live act Ryot Jones, Kylo has since established himself as a solo artist with performances at major local festivals such as Good Vibes and RIUH in the City. With four singles already released and a debut EP, Paid For, on the horizon, he continues to build a reputation for innovation and authenticity in the local scene.
“When I found out I’d been picked to represent Malaysia, it felt surreal,” said Kylo. “I’ve been grinding as an indie artist for years, so to be recognised on a global stage—and mentored by someone like Anderson .Paak—is wild. I’m just a kid from Taman Melawati, and now I’m collaborating with artists from all over the world. That kind of belief means everything.”
Kylo joins a diverse roster including South African soul singer Lloyiso, Portuguese experimentalist EU.CLIDES, Irish drill innovator Skinner, and Indonesian genre-blender Monica Karina. Together, they form a genre-defying collective reshaping the future of music.
Following his international stint, Kylo will return as Jameson Distilled Sounds’ Malaysian ambassador, sharing insights and experiences with the local music community through Jameson’s upcoming initiatives.
