Bell & Ross Takes Inspiration from Helicopters For The BR-03 Helipad

Bell & Ross has introduced the BR-03 Helipad, a new limited-edition timepiece that draws inspiration from helicopter flight, combining the brand’s aviation heritage with an unconventional approach to displaying the time.
Limited to 500 pieces, the watch reimagines the dial as a helipad viewed from above. Rather than using traditional hands, the display incorporates a series of moving elements designed to resemble a helicopter hovering over its landing pad.
The minutes are indicated by the helicopter’s fuselage, while the rotating rotor blades serve as the seconds hand. Hours are displayed via a rotating disc representing the helipad, creating a layered design that gives the illusion of continuous movement across the dial.
Circle In A Square

The watch is housed in Bell & Ross’s signature 41mm square BR-03 case, a design derived from cockpit instruments that has become synonymous with the brand since the original BR-01 debuted in 2005. Crafted from micro-blasted black ceramic, the case offers scratch resistance, lightweight construction and water resistance to 100 metres.
Powering the BR-03 Helipad is the automatic BR-CAL.327 movement, adapted to drive the watch’s unique display while maintaining the readability expected of the brand’s professional-inspired timepieces.
Legibility remains a key focus, with Super-LumiNova X2 applied to the hour markers and yellow display elements, enhancing visibility in low-light conditions. The colour palette also references aviation safety markings commonly found on rescue helicopters.

The watch is supplied with two interchangeable straps: a bright yellow rubber strap inspired by air rescue operations, and a black synthetic fabric strap that offers a more understated, military-inspired look. Both are paired with a micro-blasted steel pin buckle finished in black PVD.
Since its founding in 1994, the brand has built its reputation on watches influenced by aviation instruments, prioritising functionality and legibility. The BR-03 Helipad continues that tradition while introducing one of the brand’s most playful and visually distinctive interpretations of cockpit-inspired watchmaking to date.
