Guinness Malaysia Launches Perfect Pint Guide With New Rate Your Pint Campaign

Guinness Malaysia has unveiled Rate Your Pint, a first-of-its-kind nationwide campaign designed to help consumers recognise and celebrate the craft behind a perfectly poured Guinness Draught. The initiative also introduces Malaysia’s first-ever Perfect Pint Guide, a live platform built from consumer ratings submitted across participating outlets nationwide.

The campaign encourages Guinness drinkers to take on the role of “Chief Pint Officer” by learning how to identify a quality Guinness Draught serve through a simple mobile-based rating experience. Using the dedicated microsite, consumers can evaluate their pint based on key elements including presentation, pour quality, and taste.

Guinness Malaysia Perfect Pint

The experience begins with a digital Tilt Challenge that demonstrates how a properly poured Guinness should maintain its creamy head without spilling. Participants can then visit participating outlets and rate their pint across three categories: serve quality, tilt consistency, and flavour balance. Once submitted, ratings contribute in real time to the Perfect Pint Guide, helping other consumers discover venues known for consistently well-poured Guinness.

Beyond the ratings system, the campaign also includes a rewards element where users can track their progress and unlock experiences as they continue contributing reviews. According to Joyce Lim, the initiative was inspired by the strong response to Guinness Malaysia’s earlier Chief Pint Officer campaign, which highlighted growing appreciation among consumers for the ritual and craftsmanship behind every Guinness serve.

The Rate Your Pint campaign is now live nationwide at participating outlets.
