In celebration of two decades of innovation, Bell & Ross introduces the BR-03 Skeleton, a striking evolution of its iconic square watch at Watches and Wonders 2025. As part of the “20 YEARS BOLD” campaign, this release chronicles the history of the BR-03 collection while pushing the boundaries of watch design.
With a perfect balance of powerful design and subtle detail, the BR-03 Skeleton is available in three distinct versions: Black Ceramic, Lum Ceramic, and Grey Steel. Each model highlights Bell & Ross’ expertise in skeletonization and luminescence, delivering a sophisticated timepiece that merges art with functionality.
A New Era For The BR-03
The BR-03 Skeleton elevates the iconic BR-03 into a new dimension of sophistication. For Bell & Ross, skeletonization is more than a decorative technique—it’s a way of fully revealing a timepiece’s mechanics, showcasing the intricate movement within. The brand has completely reworked the movement’s bridges and upper plates, ensuring maximum sophistication and elegance.
The result? A watch that not only looks extraordinary but also performs with precision and reliability. As Bruno Belamich, Creative Director and co-founder of Bell & Ross, explains, “By skeletonizing our BR-03, we’ve added an extra horological dimension to an everyday timepiece.”
The design of the BR-03 Skeleton incorporates an X-shaped structure, symbolizing avant-garde sophistication. This innovative form further enhances the watch’s modernist appeal and reinforces Bell & Ross’ commitment to cutting-edge design.
Three Unique Interpretations
Revealed to the world and Watches and Wonders 2025, Bell & Ross showcases how the BR-03 Skeleton models explore the technique of skeletonization from three distinct creative perspectives, offering something for every collector.
Skeletonization itself is considered a complication in watchmaking, as it requires intricate craftsmanship to hollow out and cut components without compromising the technical integrity of the movement. The result is a truly extraordinary timepiece.
Black Ceramic
This version emphasizes transparency, offering a clear view into the watch’s mechanical heart. The sleek black ceramic case perfectly contrasts the intricate inner workings, creating a balance of elegance and technical prowess.
Lum Ceramic
Designed for those who appreciate boldness, the Lum Ceramic model transforms the professional timepiece into a watch that doubles as a statement piece. Enhanced luminescence adds a unique layer of sophistication, ensuring the timepiece stands out in any light.
Grey Steel
This version takes a more understated approach, focusing on material craftsmanship and a refined aesthetic. The Grey Steel case offers a timeless and elegant look while still allowing the skeletonized movement to shine through.
Innovative Movement
At the core of the BR-03 Skeleton lies the new BR-CAL.328 caliber, an automatic three-hand movement with a 54-hour power reserve. Exclusively designed and manufactured by Bell & Ross, this movement ensures the watch’s reliability and precision while showcasing the artistry of its skeletonized architecture.
The upper bridges of the movement are designed to form an X with their four double arms, each connected to one of the four bezel screws. This X-shaped design not only reinforces the watch’s modernist and technical aesthetic but also elevates the entire BR-03 Skeleton collection into a work of art.
