Inspired By The ISS

Inspired by the Cupola, the observation dome of the International Space Station (ISS), the BR-03 Astro allows wearers to feel like they’re looking out at the universe. Bruno Belamich, Creative Director and Co-Founder of Bell & Ross, explains that the watch draws inspiration from the view of Earth seen from space, with the planets in symbolic alignment.

The design is as technical as it is artistic. Bell & Ross has incorporated an intricate decal process beneath the glass to achieve the realistic appearance of Earth. The spherical cap-shaped glass enhances the visual impact, allowing for precise detailing. The hands of the watch are unique: Mars represents the hours, the Moon tracks the minutes, and a small satellite marks the seconds.

Innovative Time Display

The BR-03 Astro reimagines traditional time indicators. The small satellite completes a full orbit around Earth in 60 seconds, signifying the second hand. The Moon orbits to show minutes, and Mars takes its time to represent the hours. With this orbital system, the watch delivers a constantly moving dial that resembles a natural cosmic setting.
