On Friday afternoon, the prestigious international watch auction “Only Watch” concluded in Geneva, setting a new record in the world of haute horlogerie. Among the standout contributors was Bell & Ross, participating for the sixth time and offering an exclusive Cyber Rainbow model that captured the attention of collectors and enthusiasts alike.
Time And Art
Their remarkable contribution solidified Bell & Ross as one of the 50 major supporters of the auction, marking another milestone in their commitment to both craftsmanship and philanthropy. The highlight of the brand’s participation was the BR 03 Cyber Rainbow, a watch that stands out not only for its unique design but also for its innovative approach to horological art.
This one-of-a-kind timepiece reimagines the iconic BR 03 design by infusing it with elements from the cyber concept, resulting in a futuristic and visually striking piece. The case, crafted from black DLC titanium and adorned with colourful varnish pieces, creates a mesmerising mosaic pattern that immediately draws the eye.
Intricate Movement
This bold and avant-garde aesthetic is matched by the watch’s intricate craftsmanship. At the heart of the BR 03 Cyber Rainbow lies a meticulously developed manufacturing mechanism featuring a full skeleton movement and an oscillating weight.
This exceptional calibre, specially designed for this unique model, also boasts a self-winding system that ensures a reliable power reserve of 48 hours. The watch’s audacious design and advanced technical features promise to captivate its owner, offering a glimpse into the future of watchmaking.
A Good Cause
The 10th edition of “Only Watch” took place in Switzerland, the epicentre of high-end watchmaking, under the esteemed patronage of HSH Prince Albert II of Monaco. The auction, renowned for its charitable mission, directs all proceeds towards research into Duchenne muscular dystrophy, a devastating genetic disease that causes progressive muscle degeneration.
