These carefully created products are testament to Louis Vuitton’s commitment to fine craftsmanship and the new Yayoi Kusama Drop 2 Collection is no different.

The new Louis Vuitton X Yayoi Kusama Drop 2 Collection is themed around “Creating Infinity.” It presents the Maison’s latest exclusive collaboration with the avant-garde Japanese artist Yayoi Kusama.

The First Drop

Following a debut chapter highlighting the Maison’s interpretation of Kusama’s most iconic signature, the Dots, the Maison plays up the artist’s expressive, joyful spirit in new motifs. The campaign is lensed by the photographer Steven Meisel, ensuring the Drop 2 collection boasts the ultimate expression of creativity.

Creative Faces, Creative Products

Acting as canvases, ambassadors and friends of the Maison, the Drop 2 collection sees huge names including Lea Seydoux, Cate Blanchett, Justin Timberlake, Naomi Osaka, Hoyeon, and Zhou Dongyu, pose for a series of playful photos. These portraits are further embellished with colorful statements inspired by some of Yayoi Kusama’s most distinctive motifs.

Familiar Motifs

The Drop 2 Collection also features Radiant Pumpkins, colourful Faces, Flowers, and Infinity Dots and Nets appear on the iconic Capucines and Monogram accessories. All motifs are reprised in vibrant beauty looks by the makeup artist Pat McGrath, with hair by Guido, creative direction by Ferdinando Verderi, and styling by Carine Roitfeld.
