PRISM, the parent company of OYO, has officially launched its CheckIn app in Malaysia, introducing a new era of premium value hotel experiences. The platform, which already features more than nine properties nationwide, aims to become one of Malaysia’s largest and most comprehensive hotel networks in the segment.

A Wider Collective

CheckIn brings together a range of PRISM’s recognised brands, including Townhouse Hotels, Clubhouse, Sunday Hotels, Belvilla, and Palette Hotels. Each property is backed by PRISM’s operational expertise, trained staff, consistent housekeeping standards, and a suite of enhanced guest experiences. These include wholesome breakfast options, modern and clean rooms, quality amenities, and in-room entertainment beyond standard complimentary Wi-Fi.

Available now on both the App Store and Google Play Store, the CheckIn app allows guests to discover, book, and manage stays seamlessly. It features curated search options, detailed property information, and a streamlined booking process designed for reliability and convenience.

Accommodation Choices

Townhouse Hotels serves as the entry point in the collection, while Sunday Hotels represents the premium tier, offering upgraded design, comfort, and facilities tailored to leisure travellers, families, and business guests seeking affordable yet elevated stays.

Ritesh Agarwal, Founder & Group CEO of PRISM, said: “CheckIn reflects our commitment to elevating premium value stays. Just as OYO revolutionised budget travel, CheckIn aims to set a new benchmark for premium experiences. Guests can expect more than a room – they will enjoy a carefully curated experience built on quality and trust.”

A New Hospitality Standard

Malaysia’s hospitality sector has seen rising demand for modern, reasonably priced premium stays, driven by growing domestic tourism, work-travel mobility, and changing consumer preferences. In key destinations such as Kuala Lumpur, Melaka, Georgetown, and Langkawi, properties offering high standards of design, cleanliness, and service at accessible prices are expanding rapidly.

Abhijeet Singh, Country Head Malaysia at PRISM, added: “The launch of CheckIn comes at the perfect time. Travellers are increasingly seeking comfortable, contemporary hotels within an affordable range. With nine properties already on board and more planned, we are setting a new standard for premium value stays in Malaysia. Our aim is to make CheckIn the first choice for guests seeking dependable, modern, and enjoyable experiences nationwide.”

Through CheckIn, PRISM strengthens its role as a key player in Malaysia’s hospitality sector, combining scalability with operational, technological, and branding expertise to meet rising guest expectations.
