Prime Video has released the official first teaser for Vought Rising, the upcoming prequel to the global hit series The Boys.

Set in the 1950s, the new series explores the origins of Vought International, offering fans a deeper look into the dark beginnings of the powerful corporation at the centre of The Boys universe.

The teaser provides an early glimpse at the tone and world that will shape the next chapter of the expanding franchise ahead of its 2027 debut.

The arrival of the trailer and next instalment to The Boys franchise is fitting following the end of the hit superhero series this month. It also goes back to the very foundation of the universe, especially as it focuses on fan-favourite Soldier Boy.

Vought Rising stars Jensen Ackles and Aya Cash, who will also serve as producers. Additional cast members include Mason Dye, Will Hochman, KiKi Layne and Brian J. Smith.

Paul Grellong will serve as showrunner and executive producer, alongside returning franchise producers including Eric Kripke, Seth Rogen and Evan Goldberg.

All series within The Boys universe continue to stream exclusively on Prime Video worldwide.
