A high-stakes culinary competition takes centre stage in Final Table, a Korean drama that follows chefs from around the world as they compete in “The Table: K-Chef 2026” for the title of Korea’s finest chef. But beyond the pressure of the kitchen, the series explores the personal struggles and relationships that shape each contestant’s journey.
Ahn Hyo-seop stars as Kang Han, a world-class chef known as Chris K., whose meticulous approach to cooking reflects his determination to excel. Hong Hwa-yeon plays Choi Song-yi, who enters the competition while fighting to save her late father’s restaurant, Famiglia. Meanwhile, Chang Ryul takes on the role of Cha Woo-jin, a perfectionist star chef seeking to reclaim his pride. Jung Eu-gene rounds out the main cast as Seon Jeong-won, an executive producer at Pyeongyeon Media.
Learning The Trade

The cast undertook practical cooking training to bring greater authenticity to their performances. Ahn worked on knife skills, wok techniques and plating, while Chang attended daily cooking lessons for nearly two months to familiarise himself with professional kitchen tools and techniques.
Directed by Kim Doh-hoon, known for Moon Embracing the Sun, the series draws on his longstanding interest in the culinary profession. He encouraged the actors to learn from professional chefs, with the aim of capturing not only the technical demands of cooking but also the discipline and mindset required in a professional kitchen.

While culinary showdowns and rivalries provide the drama’s competitive edge, Final Table places equal emphasis on family, love, grief and personal growth. As the contestants navigate the challenges of the competition, their ambitions intersect with experiences that test their relationships and reshape their understanding of success.
Blending the intensity of a cooking contest with character-driven storytelling, the series offers a different perspective on the people behind the dishes.
Final Table premieres on 24 October 2026, exclusively on Prime Video in more than 240 countries and territories.
