A New Chapter in the Altiplano Legacy

Since debuting the legendary 9P in 1957 and the world’s thinnest automatic movement, the 12P, in 1960, Piaget has been a pioneer in the realm of slim watchmaking. The Altiplano collection represents the purest expression of this heritage. With the latest additions, Piaget continues this legacy with contemporary flair.

The Altiplano Ultimate Concept Tourbillon, measuring just 2.0mm thick, is reimagined in khaki green and yellow gold, with a cobalt alloy case and, for the first time, a transparent sapphire caseback.

This technical feat allows full appreciation of the ultra-thin calibre 970P-UC, now decorated with brushed and polished finishes.

Subtle nods to Piaget’s history are present throughout, including the engraved motto “Always do better than necessary” and a cross-shaped motif integrated into the watch’s architecture.
