OPPO has unveiled its latest flagship smartphone, the OPPO Find X9 Ultra, positioning it as a camera-focused device built around an advanced multi-lens system developed in partnership with Hasselblad. The headline feature is a 50MP 10x optical telephoto lens, designed to deliver true long-range zoom in a smartphone form factor, supported by a new periscope structure that reduces size while maintaining image clarity.

The device also introduces dual 200MP sensors—a main camera and a 3x telephoto—alongside a 50MP ultra-wide lens and a dedicated colour sensor. Together, the setup is designed to cover a wide focal range while maintaining consistent colour accuracy and low-light performance. OPPO’s updated Hasselblad Master Mode offers more manual control, with reduced image processing and support for high-resolution RAW and JPEG shooting across multiple focal lengths.

Video capabilities are similarly positioned at the high end, with support for 4K Dolby Vision recording, 4K at 120fps and 8K capture, as well as a new O-Log2 profile aimed at more flexible post-production workflows. Additional features such as real-time LUT support and stabilisation tools are intended to appeal to creators working across both photography and video.
Beyond the camera system, the Find X9 Ultra includes a 6.82-inch AMOLED display with a 144Hz refresh rate, a large 7,050mAh battery with fast wired and wireless charging, and runs on the latest ColorOS 16. The design takes cues from traditional cameras, with a leather-textured finish and a prominent lens module, reinforcing its positioning as a device built primarily around imaging.
