In a celebratory event honouring Cheah Liek Hou for winning Malaysia’s first gold medal at the Paris 2024 Paralympic Games, Martin Issing, Vice President of Omega Malaysia, presented the athlete with an exclusive Paris 2024 timepiece. Cheah triumphed in the Men’s Singles SU5 event in Badminton, showcasing remarkable talent and determination.
A Victory To Remember
Following his inspiring victory, Cheah was invited to a special gifting ceremony held at the Hokkaido Table at The Exchange, TRX. There, he was warmly greeted by Issing, who gifted him the stunning Omega Speedmaster Chronoscope Paris 2024.
The luxurious timepiece features a silvery white opaline dial adorned with three dark grey timing scales in a unique 1940s “snail” design. The watch includes a tachymeter, pulsometer, and telemeter scale, each a tribute to the precision Omega has provided since becoming the Official Timekeeper of the Olympic Games in 1932.

The celebration continued as guests were escorted to the Aurum Theatre for a screening of “Gold,” a recently released film that chronicles Cheah’s struggles and triumphs on his journey to the gold medal.
