As the Official Timekeeper of the Olympic and Paralympic Games, Omega has long been dedicated to honouring the extraordinary achievements of athletes around the world. Continuing this tradition, Omega Malaysia recently hosted an exclusive, private dinner at The Pavilion, The RuMa Hotel, to celebrate Malaysia’s Olympians and Paralympians.

Celebrating The Heroes

The intimate event brought together athletes who have dedicated their lives to representing Malaysia on the global stage. It was a night of reflection and recognition, not just for their past accomplishments, but for their resilience, determination, and unwavering commitment to excellence.

Among the distinguished guests were Dato’ Sri Megat D. Shahriman bin Dato’ Zaharuddin, President of the Malaysian Paralympic Council, Dato’ Subramaniam Raman Nair, President of the Kuala Lumpur Para Athletics Association, Datuk Nicol Ann David, Deputy Chef de Mission for Paris 2024 and a host of Olympians and Paralympians from various disciplines.

The Values

The dinner was a celebration of the spirit of sport, competition, perseverance and triumph, qualities that these athletes embody. Throughout the evening, guests shared their personal journeys and experiences, including their aspirations.

For Omega, which has been the trusted timekeeper of the Olympic Games for over 90 years, it was a fitting occasion to celebrate these local heroes who represent the best of Malaysia on the world stage.
