Newest MCM Collection Celebrates “80 Years Of Tweety”
And it is as stunning as it is nostalgic
At the risk of sounding like a fossil, we shall say it, “I tawt I taw a puddy tat!” You know him, you love him, it’s everyone’s favourite yellow canary and the bird who made Sylvester the cat rage everyday, its Tweety bird, celebrating his 80th Anniversary and MCM is taking it up a notch with their newest collection.
What’s more, this new MCM collection is an official collaboration with Warner Bros. Discovery Global Consumer Products which continues the luxury fashion brand’s long-running history in entertainment. This particular collection has over 30 original pieces from bags to colourful accessories, it is just as colourful as Tweety himself.
This “looney” collection from MCM will launch globally and be available in a few special pop-up stores which you can’t miss as they will be adorned in vibrant and colourful images of Tweety Bird in his iconic cage.
These pop-up stores also offer you the chance to browse through accessories featuring the whole Looney Tunes range. These will combine MCM iconography with the ever popular animated classic series. You can also experience the fun in Augmented Reality (AR) which makes the whole experience much more memorable.
The new MCM x Tweety collection also features a bunch of totes, shoppers and backpacks available in either white, black or cognac and features the iconic Visetos Monogram. You can also enjoy a variety of hoodies and sweaters embellished with the letter of the Haus as well as leather goods, ball caps and bucket hats.
