What happens when two former university sweethearts become partners in a private detective agency? Agatha Christie’s Tommy & Tuppence follows the unlikely reunion of the pair as they discover that solving crimes together may come more naturally than expected.

The six-part series premieres on BBC First on 16 September 2026, with new episodes released every Wednesday. In Malaysia, it will be available on Unifi TV channel 481 and BBC Player.

Set in London, the series gives Christie’s much-loved detective duo a contemporary makeover. Tommy and Tuppence are brought back together at a murder scene, where their unexpected encounter sets them on a new path as amateur sleuths.

They soon reopen Tommy’s Aunt Ada’s private detective agency and begin taking on cases, combining two very different approaches to investigation. Tuppence relies on instinct, while Tommy favours logic, making them an unlikely but effective partnership.

As they work through a succession of mysteries, the pair must navigate not only the clues but also the question of whether their relationship can remain strictly professional.
