About Borderless Fog

The story chronicles the journey of a big city detective investigating a series of gruesome murders along the Indonesia-Malaysia borders, which eventually forces her to confront ghosts from her past.

From director Edwin, the film sees the award-winning filmmaker branch out into the genre of crime-investigative thriller. He won the Golden Leopard at the 2021 Locarno Film Festival and was named Best Director and Best Adapted Screenplay at the 2022 Indonesian Film Festival for the film Vengeance is Mine, All Others Pay Cash.

As seen in the trailer, Borderless Fog stars Putri Marino in the leading role of Sanja, a woman determined to uncover the brains behind the eerie events amid her personal battles. The film also stars Yoga Pratama, Lukman Sardi, Yudi Ahmad Tajudin, Yusuf Mahardika, Iedil Dzuhrie Alaudin, Kiki Narendra, Siti Fauziah, and Sita Nursanti.
