Opening in Q1 2026, Mövenpick Resort & Spa Bintan Lagoon will become one of Bintan’s newest beachfront resorts, offering a polished yet easygoing island escape just a short ferry ride from Singapore.
Located along the island’s longest private beach on Bintan’s northern coast, the reimagined resort will feature 420 rooms and suites, blending Swiss-inspired design with warm Indonesian hospitality. The result is a destination that feels premium without being formal—well suited to families, couples, and groups looking for a relaxed tropical getaway.

Accommodation will range from elegantly designed rooms to suites with ocean-facing views, including 52 Premium Terrace Rooms positioned to take in sweeping sea vistas. Across the resort, the focus is on light-filled spaces and a sense of openness that connects guests to the surrounding coastline.
Elevated Hospitality

Dining will play a central role in the experience, with six new dining concepts launching alongside the resort’s opening. Guests can also expect signature Mövenpick touches, including the brand’s much-loved daily Chocolate Hour, adding a familiar ritual to the stay.
The resort is designed with variety in mind. Facilities include a beach club, spa, multiple swimming pools, kids’ splash zones, sports courts, creative playrooms, and a large Recreation Village that brings activities together in one shared space. Whether guests prefer slow days by the beach or more active pursuits, the resort offers flexibility without the need to leave the property.

For meetings, weddings, and large-scale events, Mövenpick Resort & Spa Bintan Lagoon will house the largest Meetings & Events facilities on the island. Highlights include a 900-square-metre Grand Ballroom and 1,100 square metres of additional flexible space across 12 function rooms, making it a strong option for destination events.
Golfers will also benefit from direct access to two championship courses, designed by Jack Nicklaus and Ian Baker-Finch, adding another draw for leisure travellers.
With its beachfront setting, comprehensive facilities, and easy access from Singapore, Mövenpick Resort & Spa Bintan Lagoon is set to become a key addition to Bintan’s hospitality scene when it opens in 2026.
