MIDO Introduces The Multifort 8 One Crown In Striking Blue
Share
MIDO continues to evolve its iconic Multifort collection with the launch of the Multifort 8 One Crown, a refined yet dynamic timepiece that embodies contemporary urban style. Following the earlier two-crown model, this streamlined version delivers the same architectural strength with a cleaner silhouette and a striking blue dial.
At the heart of the design lies MIDO’s TECHNOMETRY concept, where advanced watchmaking meets geometric precision. The Multifort 8 One Crown takes its name from its distinctive eight-sided elements: the bezel, crown and screw-down case back all echo this angular motif. Alternating satin-finished and polished stainless-steel surfaces create a sophisticated interplay of light, reinforcing the watch’s bold yet balanced presence.

The vivid blue dial commands attention with its horizontal motif, radiating energy while maintaining clarity. Satin-finished and polished indexes, along with tri-faceted hour and minute hands, are filled with white Super-LumiNova® for optimal readability day and night.

A discreet date window at 3 o’clock enhances practicality without disrupting the dial’s clean composition. The display is protected by a sapphire crystal with anti-reflective coating on both sides, ensuring clarity in every environment.
Engineered for durability, the watch is water-resistant up to 10 bar (100 metres), making it suited for daily urban adventures. The stainless steel bracelet features a folding clasp and MIDO’s quick-change system, offering versatility and ease of wear.

Powering the Multifort 8 One Crown is the Caliber 80 automatic movement, visible through the transparent case back. Decorated with Côtes de Genève and engraved with the MIDO logo, the oscillating weight reflects the brand’s commitment to craftsmanship. Equipped with a Nivachron™ balance spring, the movement offers enhanced resistance to shocks and magnetic fields, along with an impressive 80-hour power reserve.
In addition to the blue model, MIDO introduces two black-dial variations — one paired with a steel bracelet for refined elegance, and another with a black rubber strap for a sportier edge — further expanding the collection’s urban appeal.
