As Official Timekeeper and Official Partner of the Glasgow 2026 Commonwealth Games, Longines is celebrating its enduring relationship with one of the world’s most prestigious multi-sport events through the launch of a special-edition HydroConquest timepiece. Limited to 2,026 pieces in each of its two sizes, the new release captures the spirit of competition and contemporary sporting elegance while paying tribute to the vibrant visual identity of the Games.
Opening on 23 July 2026, the Glasgow 2026 Commonwealth Games will welcome approximately 3,000 athletes from 74 nations and territories competing across 10 sports, including the largest Parasport programme in Commonwealth Games history. Longines’ connection with the event dates back to the 1962 Perth Games in Australia, when the Swiss watchmaker first served as Official Timekeeper.
Inspired by the Colours of Glasgow 2026

Built on the newly redesigned HydroConquest platform, the limited edition draws direct inspiration from the Glasgow 2026 visual identity. Since its debut in 2007, the HydroConquest collection has become synonymous with Longines’ distinctive balance of adventure and refined sports luxury.
For this edition, the lacquered dial transitions from vibrant teal to deep black, creating a striking sense of depth and movement. Violet “HydroConquest” lettering and a pink-tipped seconds hand complete the palette, echoing the official colours of the Games.

The watch retains the technical hallmarks expected of the HydroConquest line, including rhodium-plated hands and applied indexes coated with Super-LumiNova® for optimal legibility. A black ceramic bezel with teal numerals reinforces the collection’s contemporary aesthetic, while subtle design details ensure the piece remains unmistakably tied to Glasgow 2026.
Precision Performance Meets Sporting Heritage
Available in both 39mm and 42mm stainless-steel cases, the timepiece is water resistant to 300 metres and powered by the exclusive Longines calibre L888.5. The self-winding mechanical movement features a silicon balance spring, offering enhanced resistance to magnetic fields and a power reserve of up to 72 hours.

The screw-down case back is engraved with the official Glasgow 2026 Commonwealth Games logo alongside its individual limited-edition numbering, reinforcing the watch’s collectible appeal. Presented on a Swiss-made black rubber strap with a double-folding safety clasp and micro-adjustment system, the piece has been designed for both comfort and active performance.
With its bold colour palette, advanced engineering and limited production, the HydroConquest Commonwealth Games Edition stands as a fitting tribute to the values shared by athletes and watchmakers alike — precision, resilience and the pursuit of excellence.
