Dyson Travel Hair Dryer Malaysia

Dyson has launched the Supersonic Travel hair dryer in Malaysia, expanding its hair care range with a compact model designed for travellers and users on the move.

The new device is 32 per cent smaller and 25 per cent lighter than the standard Dyson Supersonic hair dryer, weighing less than a 500ml bottle of water. Designed to fit easily into handbags, cabin luggage and carry-on bags, it aims to provide the same styling performance associated with the Dyson range in a more portable format.

A key feature of the Supersonic Travel hair dryer is its global voltage compatibility, allowing users to maintain consistent performance when travelling internationally. The device is also compatible with attachments from existing Dyson Supersonic and Dyson Supersonic Nural hair dryers, enabling users to continue using their preferred styling tools while away from home.

Like other products in the Supersonic range, the travel model incorporates Dyson’s intelligent heat control technology, which monitors airflow temperature 100 times per second to help prevent excessive heat exposure. The system is designed to dry hair efficiently while minimising heat-related damage and helping maintain natural shine.

The launch builds on Dyson’s decade-long investment in hair science and styling technology. Since introducing the original Supersonic hair dryer in 2016, the company has expanded its beauty portfolio with products including the Airwrap, Corrale and Airstrait, alongside the more recent Supersonic Nural hair dryer, which features a scalp protection mode designed to adjust airflow temperature automatically.

According to Dyson, the development of its styling technologies is supported by research into hair and scalp health, including the effects of heat on hair structure and the role of temperature regulation in maintaining hair condition.

The Dyson Supersonic Travel hair dryer is now available in Malaysia, priced at RM1,399. Consumers can purchase the device through Dyson stores nationwide and the brand’s official online channels.
