Flavours of Malaysia Brings A 10-Hands Culinary Showcase to Singapore

Grand Copthorne Waterfront Hotel Singapore invites diners on a cross-country culinary journey with Flavours of Malaysia, a vibrant buffet showcase at Food Capital running from 1 June to 12 July 2026.
Presented in collaboration with Tourism Malaysia, Sarawak Trade and Tourism Office and Sabah Trade and Tourism Office in Singapore, the experience brings together the flavours and traditions of five regions — Johor, Penang, Kuala Lumpur, Sabah and Sarawak — through a line-up of guest chefs.
Timed alongside the Visit Malaysia 2026 campaign, the showcase offers a more nuanced exploration of Malaysian cuisine, going beyond familiar favourites to spotlight lesser-known regional specialities rarely experienced outside the country.
Led by Johor-born Executive Sous Chef Peter Pang, alongside four visiting chefs from across Malaysia, the 10-hands concept presents a collaborative dining experience shaped by personal recipes, cultural traditions and regional influences.

From Johor’s royal Malay heritage and Penang’s vibrant street food culture to Kuala Lumpur’s urban classics and the indigenous flavours of East Malaysia, the buffet reflects the country’s rich culinary diversity.
Highlights include signature dishes from each chef, alongside halal-certified offerings and live cooking stations that bring an interactive element to the dining experience.
Beyond the buffet, The Lobby Lounge extends the theme with a Malaysian-inspired afternoon tea and a tiffin lunch set, offering refined and accessible ways to explore local flavours.
